wow snowstorm Jan 2010

Snowstorm 2010 over four feet in one week!  We ventured out and bought the last snowshoes in town so we could enjoy our four day snow weekend.  Doug loves to shovel, but might be done with it for a while.  We have a trail across the street from our house that leads right to the Pumphouse Wash trailhead.  LUCKY!

Hey there! We got our house!  It took a little longer than we thought, but it's ours.  We closed the deal at the end of January and have been working really hard ever since.  We have painted, ripped down panelling, put in new duct work, a new garage door, gutters, new doors, new kitchen sink and more!  I learned how to texture drywall and am a natural!  We still have a lot to go, but we are learning so much along the way.  We are really lucky to have our friends Jules and Jerry that have helped us along the way.  We really love our new home and are so excited to have our place to start a family!  You will all have to come and visit!

Well, it's been a bit since we've have blogged.  Flagstaff is starting to look a lot like Christmas!  It's finally snowing.  In September I got a crazy itch to start looking at houses.  So Doug and I went all over Flag to find "our" house.  And we think we found it.  We but in our offer in October and have been patiently waiting the final say if it is ours.  We are so excited!  We have a date to close of December 24th, what a Christmas present that will be!  So wish us luck!  See y'all soon!
